WOW. Do you guys remember a year ago when I photographed Hallie’s Fresh 48 and newborn portraits? Here we are already doing her 1 year cake smash portraits. Time is a thief. Looking back, isn’t it so amazing seeing the similarities between what they looked like as a newborn compared to what they look like as a 1 year old?
It only gets wilder as these babies grow into toddlerhood and childhood.
As usual, Hallie was so stinking adorable. Kelsie had two different precious outfits for her to wear that looked so, so cute!
Kelsie even had the cutest hat, that I loved even more than normal because she put a chicken feather in it from one of her chickens. She loves her chickens. So I really love that she included them in a small way for these photos! To me, that just will make these photos more special and memorable.
Speaking of making these photos memorable, I love doing their photos at their place because I feel like these images will hold even more weight in gold as the years go by. They’ll have beautiful memories from their beautiful little farm to look back on. If you look close, you can see cows in the back of some of these pictures in their back pasture. So thanks for the inspiration, friends! I’ll get my own chickens and cows one day!
Kelsie is such an amazing mama, too! Hallie and Caroline have both struggled with various allergies, so Kelsie had to find a special recipe to make Hallie’s smash cake and I think she did AMAZING! It looks so precious with Hallie’s little sunflower outfit. I mean, talk about cake smash inspiration. She has the cake and the outfit down to a T looking perfect!
Enough rambling about how wonderful these people are. Take a peek below yourself!
OUR TIME TOGETHER: HALLIE’S 1 YEAR CAKE SMASH PORTRAITS
We started our time together taking some photos in their barn. Much of their time is spent here with their horses.
OMG. Like, look at that huge smile and those sparkling eyes!
I just can’t with her little hand placement in the photo on the right.
Little dirty feet in the barn. <3
Caroline is the cutest big sis.
