Have you guys ever met someone and just felt like you were meant to be friends? This is how I felt with Taylor from Lucas’ 3 month portraits (click here to see how cute he is at 3 months) when I started taking his milestone photos. It was confirmed last week when we did Lucas’ 6 month portraits at Arbor Hills Nature Preserve in Plano, Texas. A huge spider came onto my blanket. Taylor and I equally freaked out. I’m pretty sure I jumped into her arms. She made me feel better by freaking out with me. Although I didn’t start taking serving this family at Lucas’ newborn portraits, this incident made me feel as if I had been with them the whole time.
It’s funny the things that bond you, isn’t it?
Another thing I love about Taylor is she introduced me to this amazing baby toy! I have to get it! It is so easy to get the baby to look at the camera. It’s light weight and easy to hold. All I have to do is tap the side of my camera with it and it lights up and plays music. I can easily fit it in between my two fingers while holding my camera and not sacrifice a steady hand, ensuring my photos are still focused. So THANK YOU, TAYLOR!!
Taylor, Colby, and Lucas are just seriously the cutest family ever. They are SO sweet, SO joyful, and SO loving! It’s no wonder Lucas is such a happy baby! Every picture I see Taylor post online, he is just the happiest baby ever with the hugest smile you have ever seen. He did not disappoint at our session either! He is such a joy to capture and I am so honored to document all these milestones for this adorable family!
OUR TIME TOGETHER
I just LOVE how babies who are about this age just eat their toes and hands ALL. DAY. LONG.
BLOOPERS
It is just really too bad that there was not a photograph of me and Taylor screaming and jumping away from the spider haha
TIMMMMBER
I was trying real hard to make this super cute and I completely failed many times before getting the shot!
