I was so excited to take Dana’s maternity portraits last weekend. This is her and Daniel’s first baby which makes it even more special! I can’t wait til baby Lorynn is here to photograph! She is one of 4 babies that I have on the schedule to photograph soon and it’s a toss up to see who gets here first! Whenever she comes though, I am so excited and ready! I know they are too!

I loved photographing them and seeing these two parents interact! They’re going to make the perfect parenting team. Dana is the cutest little pregnant person. She is so tiny. She looks even smaller compared to the height of her husband. He is so tall and she is so petite! If she’s anything like me-although she’s little, she’s fierce and will have to be the “bad cop” while Dad plays the “good cop” because baby Lorynn has daddy wrapped around her finger. I think that’s how it is for most parenting duos of little girls!

Dana was such a trooper with her perfect outfit! Her dress was adorable and perfect for photos, but not so much for the weather. It was cold and she braved it like a champ. Maybe the extra hormones you have while pregnant helped? Either way, she didn’t complain at all! I was cold for her. I think she was glad to change into outfit number two.

The light was so pretty where we were located at Erwin park. It was peaking through the trees perfectly. Everything was so glow-y! I am just loving this location more and more each time I photograph there.
