Every time I have repeat clients, I can’t help but be amazed at how quickly times go by and how much babies change-but stay the same- in such a short amount of time. I LOVE Stephanie and Byron! I love seeing them with work together to raise Zeb. They were awesome helping try to get him to look and smile at his 18 month portraits. If Byron had Zeb, Stephanie was right behind me making faces, hiding behind me and popping out so he’d smile at the camera! If Zeb was with Stephanie, Byron was working just as hard to get him to look and smile! Every 18 month old boy loves playing instead of taking pictures though. So Byron even went so far as to get a whole arm work out in and pop Zeb in and out behind the plants so he’d smile at me!

Note to every parent trying to get portraits with their kids made: BE LIKE STEPHANIE AND BYRON. With little kids its so important to just try your best to go with the flow! We’ll pivot together a lot and try many crazy things. You’ll see me sing and dance, whip my hair around, and even throw rocks out in front of my camera to get the kids to laugh-but you know what will work best! Pull out all the stops, no matter how ridiculous you feel-it’s worth it, I promise!

Also, take note of how amazing they ALWAYS look! Stephanie does such a great job of curating their outfits to coordinate and look amazing, stylish, and flattering! I can’t wait to wear them in our own pictures!

These types of pictures just MELT me. I just pray little boys who love bringing flowers to their mamas one day love bringing flowers to their wife!

And when all our tricks were failing and Zeb just wanted to explore, we just did pictures of Byron and Stephanie!
Just like me and Zach, they have been together since high school and I just really admire the commitment and love they have for one another even after all these years!
