One of my favorite things to photograph at a newborn session is the nursery. I love seeing how moms decorate the nursery. I am especially drawn to nurseries like Ella’s. They are light and airy, feminine and pretty. It just makes you want to spend all your time in there! Her floral nursery is the perfect inspiration for any mom who is having a girl!

I love how clean and simple this beautiful nursery is. Ella is going to love growing up in this nursery. It’s so beautifully done that I know it will be a nursery that can transition into a beautiful “big girl room” as she grows into toddlerhood and beyond. That’s the kind of magic I love in nursery planning! It makes my heart so happy to see rooms that easily morph as the years go on.

ELLA’S FLORAL NURSERY

This shot kind of gives you an overview of the whole room. The crib is up against the wall to the left of the door. The dresser is right under the window with the chair right next to it. I love the simple floating shelving on the wall behind the chair.

As usual, the little nook with the chair is my favorite. I don’t know if it’s the chairs that draw me in, or the memories I know will be created here. Regardless, the corner with the chair is always my favorite in a nursery.

I also am in love with the sign above the chair with her name. The flowers on the dresser next to it just make the little nook so cozy and pretty.

This floral painting ties nicely with the tased flowers on the dresser. The colors are just so calm and beautiful.

The scripture handwritten in the frame is just so lovely!

I am OBSESSED with the watercolor sonogram. I had no idea these exist. You can find them all over Etsy I learned though. It’s such a beautiful keepsake!
