I admit it. I’ve always loved red heads, but I think Zeb is the CUTEST little red head I have ever met! He has made my love for ginger babies grow exponentially. I went to high school with Stephanie and Byron. Thanks to social media, I have watched Stephanie go through pregnancy with Zeb and her posts of him now that he has been out. I have always thought he was the cutest little thing. Seeing him in person though?! OH. MY GOSH. SO cute!! I was so excited when Stephanie reached out wanting family portraits and was super excited to take them to my favorite place-Arbor Hills Nature Preserve.
Zeb was such a doll! Sometimes when babies see my big honkin’ camera, they get camera shy and don’t want to smile, which is why I love to do a mix of posed shots and some candid shots as well. Zeb seemed to be a little camera shy, but he was SO chill even though he was unsure of me. The ONLY time he even started to whine was at the VERY end. It did make me feel better when Stephanie complained about him being very stubborn taking photos even for her two days later. haha!
Stephanie and Byron are just the best parenting team. I loved seeing them work together taking care of him, getting him to smile, and keeping him happy. I’ve always admired them from afar on social media. Stephanie is fun to follow because she is so fashionable and cute, but I just love seeing the way her and Byron support each other and love each other. They are a Godly example of what a faith based marriage should look like.
I love that their family has grown to be three and I love the way they live and love life together! Stephanie and Byron, thanks for being such a joy to be around and to photograph! I hope these are images you cherish for a long time and years from now you look back and see your cute little ginger when you were just a new family of three enjoying all the sweetness life has to offer!
