When Heather reached out to me wanting a Mommy and Me portraits with her girls, I was happy to help! She told me that she gets portraits done with her girls every year around mothers day because it’s the only way she can get pictures with them. I think all moms can say “amen” to that, myself included! I am ALWAYS having to tell my husband, “Hey, take a picture of this”. He rolls his eyes and will take one with little effort leaving me to delete the photo anyways because the angle he took it from made my arm look fat or is blurry. Heather is smart. I need to be like Heather myself, and so do you! In my opinion, all moms need to do this for themselves! Good job Heather!

Not only did I like Heather right away for her brilliant thinking to ensure her daughters have a photographic legacy to look back on years from now, I liked her because of her attitude. It rained the days leading up to our session and even the morning of our session. Heather was so open to doing whatever it took to get the portraits done. She said, “we can just wear rainboots and change into our shoes when we’re where we need to be for pictures”. So we did, and I’m so glad because these pictures are adorable! Her girls personalities shine through these photos!

Something else Heather passed down to her daughters is their BEAUTIFUL eyes! I couldn’t get over how bright and vibrant their eyes are! They just sparkled in the sunlight, making my job as photographer even more enjoyable! Heather, I hope you love these photos as much as I do. I hope that when you and your girls look back on these years from now, you all remember the fun you had together during their young years. Hopefully, you can hear their giggles when you look at them. I hope your girls can feel your love for them. THAT’S what I love so much about this job-preserving the feelings of the joy of motherhood and family in a visual form.
