WOW! 6 months flies by! It has been six months since I took Hudson’s newborn portraits. I am always so amazed at how much babies grow in 6 months, yet how you can still see similarities. I am always so excited to take a baby’s 6 month portraits after I take their newborns for the soul fact that I get to see this transformation.
Hudson’s eyes just sparkle. Danielle told me before our session that she had been teething. You just could not tell. She was still a happy girl with eyes that sparkled the whole time.
Honestly, our session went by quickly. She was in such a great mood and did such a great job looking at the camera, it went by quicker than anticipated. So thanks, Hudson, for loving the camera! Not many babies are like you in that way! A lot of the time I have to resort to dancing, singing, whipping my hair around, or making crazy noises. Not with Hudson! I felt like a hero when Andrew announced at the end of our time that I finished their session within his timeline. I know how much guys in general hate taking photos, so that compliment speaks to my heart. I have to admit though, a lot of that responsibility falls on your sweet girl, Andrew, for being so photogenic! 😉
A big thank you to Danielle and Andrew for being so flexible with our location! This Covid-19 mess has made things tricky when trying to find a place to shoot. This little spot is right in my neighborhood on a walking trail. Not only is it beautiful, but it’s secluded and away from people and distractions, which is always good for a successful baby shoot! I’m not sure I’d be willing to go to someone’s house I don’t know very well, to follow them to some random spot with no address to take pictures, but they did! It paid off, too! Thanks for trusting me, guys!
