Back in March I took some time off to have another baby. I told myself I would give myself a real maternity leave to really enjoy time bonding with him. I’m proud to say I did that, but it felt good this last weekend getting back into the swing of things. Doing Avery’s 6 month portraits was the best way to kick off coming back to work. It’s always so sweet getting to see these babies I did newborns for down the road, and Avery is no exception.
I’m so glad they reached back out to me to do her 6 month portraits because I actually had a late Christmas gift I needed to give them. I had “Baby’s First Christmas” ornaments made for all my newborn clients from 2019 this past Christmas. Apparently theirs didn’t get mailed off with the rest of them because I randomly found it in my purse last month.
Although it was a little hard leaving my baby to photograph this one, it was easier since these images were literally in my backyard. My husband and I found this beautiful little area on a walk a couple weeks ago. Had it not been for Covid, we would have never gone over there haha! It’s amazing what you find when family nightly walks become the norm just to get out of the house! I highly suggest anyone to let me take their pictures here! We found several amazing spots!
It was also a lot easier to take pictures with them because Leeza and Garrett are SO sweet and Avery is ADORABLE! Leeza had a vision for different things she wanted and Garrett was such a sweet guy toting all the cute stuff down to the spot I thought would look best. It was quite a trek from the car when you take into account all the adorable stuff Leeza had for our shoot! But look at how cute these turned out! It was worth it!!
It’s hard to believe that it was 6 months ago I was doing Avery’s newborns! A lot can happen in 6 months, a baby grows from this (click here) to this (see images below), seasons change from winter to spring, or the world could go into lock down!
Check out how much this cutie has grown below!
OUR TIME TOGETHER: Avery’s 6 Month Portraits
Look at that sweet face!
How ADORABLE is Avery having tea with her little teddy?!
Can you believe I caught this ladybug on her arm, joining her and Teddy for tea?!
I loved watching Avery in her little tub! I couldn’t believe how much she was stuck on these lemons! She would make these little faces when she ate them, which is always hilarious. She wouldn’t swap it out for the strawberries though! So please, enjoy the following photos of there faces from lemons
