Peachy Girl’s Nursery

Momspiration

Baby girl number two for the Reyes’ is here and she’s the reason I am obsessed with the color peach now! This girl nursery is the exact reason I now like orange. If you want to see what this nursery looks like with her inside it, click here! I like to call this the peachy girl nursery. As a result, if you’re looking for girl nursery inspiration, I think you need check out this adorable room for some. Why? Because, the way the colors come together here is so adorable, dainty, and girly! I love the peach walls and the way they blend in perfectly with the fabrics in this room!

Also love how these little frames match the detailing of the little pillows on windowsill. Basically, everything ties together perfectly, all the way down to the tiny details. Nice job, Sarah! You are a master of making sure everything is detail oriented!

It’s very girly yet mature, but calming at the same time. For those reasons, I envision this being a room that Evie will love and enjoy for a very long time, not just when she is little. I love nurseries like that, it feels like a room the baby AND mom will enjoy spending time in, and I think that’s really important!

NURSERY INSPIRATION—PEACHY GIRL NURSERY

Nursery Inspiration
First, if you are looking right into the room from the door, this is what you see. I like nurseries that work like this. You can easily crack open the door and check in on the baby without having to walk into the room! I love the simple frames above the crib, if you look closer below, you’ll see that they have gold trim, which matches my favorite pillow in the room.

Also, I’m not positive about this, but I feel like Sarah got her inspiration for this room from the pillow I’ll show you guys later. If that’s the case, I’m loving it, because that is how I got the inspiration for my daughter’s nursery. I was obsessed with this pillow and wanted the room to feel like this pillow!

Inspiration can be found from all kinds of objects! I encourage you to find something you love and try to decorate the whole room around something you LOVE!

Next, here are some close up pictures of the frames above the crib. Like I said, they are gold trimmed and match my favorite pillow in the room. I love that these frames have some positive quotes inside them! Girls need more positivity in their lives! The media makes it so hard to be confident, if we can start instilling that early, how awesome!

Continuing our tour, the dresser is on the right when you walk into the room. Again, I love the way that the decor is all cohesive in theme and color. When we did her newborn pictures, she was only 8 days old!!
Also, this is just a side note, I love having lamps in baby’s room. The overhead light is so bright! Having a soft light for those late night diaper changes is a game changer! Get yourself a lamp that matches your nursery mamas, you won’t regret it!

Next, if you look up, you’ll see this shelf above the dresser. This is just a little close up of the decoration that is up there. I love the little sign about sisters!

If you continue around the room, you’ll see the door and the closet before you get to the windowsill. As you can see pictured, there is this little nook in between the door and the closet. Again, Sarah has little frames and signs that all feel cohesive and dainty! Doesn’t it just make you feel girly?! I love how the books are low to the ground so that Evie can grab them easily and look at on her own!

Something else that you can’t really see from these photos is there there is a big open space when you walk in. I love that Evie will have lots of room to sprawl out and play in here!

Nursery Inspiration
I know Evie isn’t old enough to sit and read by herself yet, but can’t you just picture here sitting on this windowsill for hours reading her favorite books?! Maybe this is hopeful thinking from a 3rd grade teacher, but I think it is such an adorable reading nook!

Nursery Inspiration
Finally, right on the other side of this windowsill is my favorite room! The pillow that would have been MY inspiration for the room!! The gold lettering and outline matches all the frames in the room. Additionally, it has that quote that I love on it too, reminding Evie of what’s important in life-the little things!

Nursery Inspiration
Here’s a little farther out shot of this space. Because of that pillow and my vision of Evie reading books for hours here, this windowsill is by far my favorite part of this room!

However, a close second is the color of the walls! I truly LOVE the peach colors! SO, if you’re having a girl, or you know someone having a girl, I hope you share this and let them be inspired! I love this room! If nothing else, I hope you learned that you can find inspiration for your nursery in ANYTHING!

Happy decorating, mamas!
