Gender Neutral Sophisticated Farm Animal Nursery

Momspiration

I’m here to provide nursery inspiration to moms who are waiting til the baby is born to find out the gender. Particularly those mamas who happen to live on a farm. Why? Because, Kelsie put together the cutest, what I like to call “grown”, gender neutral farm animals nursery. It’s all neutral and calming colors perfect for baby boys or girls! She of course had to do that since she didn’t know if the  baby was a boy or a girl until she got here!

I love the small touches in this nursery. The wall decor, the shelf decor, the toys and books on the shelf, all of it gave a nod to animals. It’s got a farmhouse vibe, which is perfect for their home, it all flows! As a result, I’m obsessed with the whole room-and their house actually. Furthermore, I just love their property, the outside and inside! Click here to see Hallie’s in home lifestyle photos to see what I mean. The whole house screams modern farmhouse and I love it so much!

Take a peek below to see this amazing, yet simple nursery!

SOPHISTICATED FARM ANIMAL NURSERY

Lifestyle Newborn Portraits
First, this gives an overall view of the room. The crib is to the left as you walk in. Another thing you see here is the little shelf of toys, and a pretty laundry basket that hides the clothes is straight ahead of you. Since this floor is so open, I love how there is plenty of floor space in here for the baby to have tummy time! What you can’t see from this photo is the closet and built in changing station that both sit on the wall to the right of the door.

To start, if we go around the room from left to right, you can see the most adorable “grown” farm animal art work! I love it! Who else loves nurseries that feel like a space mom AND baby would want to spend time?!

Lifestyle Newborn Portraits
Here’s a close up look of the artwork on the wall next to the crib. Kelsie and Jesse have two horses, Trigger and Leo. As a result, I feel like this piece belongs in here simply because they are horse people! Jesse is always out there roping with the horses and riding around no them. How lucky are these girls to grow up with horses in their back yard? Most little girls DREAM of riding one, they’ll get to ride one every day!

How cute are these?! Now, they don’t have pigs, but they do have chickens and cows. They even sent me home with some farm fresh eggs!! I love all the names of their chickens, they’re all old women names!

Here’s just a couple other angles of the crib! Isn’t it so darling?!

Next, here is the amazing toy shelf that is shaped like a little farmhouse! I love how it’ll be easy for Hallie to grab what she wants to play with on her own!

If you look close you can see these adorable little pig and cow figurines! Hence, it’s no surprise I was so obsessed with them! I feel like maybe they were the whole inspiration for the room! Also, I was obsessed with these little books that were shaped like a zebra and giraffe!

SO, THESE are the little guys I was obsessed with!! Aren’t they so cute?!!!

Lifestyle Newborn Portraits
Okay, here are the books I was talking about-aren’t they so cute?! Look at the side below!

These are just the cutest little books I’ve ever seen, and for that reason, I want these for me!!

Here’s the little changing station in the corner. Maybe I’m alone here, but I love how they utilized this space. I’m pretty sure this isn’t what it was built for, but it works out perfectly!!

Finally, the changing station on the other side of the door to the right. Isn’t this saying just so cute for a little nursery in the middle of a farm?! I love how the diapers fit perfectly in this little hanging basket too! Most noteworthy, it’s cute AND functional! That’s a HUGE win in my book!

As you can see, it’s simple, but so cute and calming right?!

As a result, I know I’m feeling super inspired after taking these pictures, and I’m not even trying to decorate a nursery! Happy decorating mamas! If you’re wanting more inspiration, feel free to click here to see other nurseries I’ve had the pleasure of documenting!
