Lexi’s Two Year Old Portraits–McKinney, Texas

Toddler Portraits

I can NOT believe that little Lexi is already two! It is crazy that I am here blogging her two year portraits already! It’s crazy that she is walking and talking and has a mind of her own! Two years goes by so quickly! This baby toddler is sweet, spunky, and sassy! She gives the BEST kisses! When she puckers up, she looks like a fish! She has the most beautiful long hair for a two year old that I have ever seen!

When we were thinking about a place to take her two year old portraits, we decided on some areas near where their new home is going to be. You may recognize her sweet face from the family portraits I took of them on their new plot of land here. *Shameless plug: If you are fun and in the area and looking for a new home, look in the Willow Wood neighborhood in McKinney, it’s an awesome place to live! My husband an I live here too and are looking to choose our neighbors! ;)* There are lots of fields to take some beautiful shots in, but there’s also a sunflower field! This spot was an ideal spot to commemorate her middle namesake.

Lexi Michele Villarreal. Michele is the same middle name that Lexi’s Aunt Tina shared. She passed away a few years ago and her favorite flower was a sunflower, so Bekah knew the this would be the perfect spot for her daughter’s two year old portraits!

Sweet Lexi Lou made me work for smiles during our shoot, but when she did smile, it was so rewarding!

OUR TIME TOGETHER!

BLOOPERS

My FAVORITE blooper is below and it comes with a story.

Her big sister Leah was trying to make her smile by blowing spitballs through a straw. She wasn’t trying to hit Lexi in the head, but she did, and Lexi seemed very sad about it! haha! Luckily it wiped right off and we were able to get to start smiling shortly after! It’s true that laughter is contagious, even when they are so little! We were all laughing so hard, she couldn’t help but smile and laugh along with us!

The rest of my bloopers I put together in a collage below!
