Have you ever been doing something and look up and realize that hours have passed? This is how I’ve felt the past 6 months. When I showed up to do Isla’s 6 months, I just couldn’t believe that it has already been 6 months! I can’t believe it has been half a year since I have photographed her fresh 48! She was so tiny and I can’t believe how much she has grown, even since her 3 month portraits! She is sitting up and even crawling some! It was adorable watching her crawl for a bag of wipes! My own daughter could NEVER be prompted to crawl for ANYTHING! She was very stubborn that way! I can already tell that Isla is going to the kind of girl who goes after what she wants!

I so enjoyed watching Brandon and Jen interact with her during our shoot! They are great parents who give Isla the happiest life! Even when Isla isn’t smiling, she has such a happy disposition! I have a feeling this next half of the year is going to go by just as fast as the first half and before I know it, I’ll be shooting her smash cake!

If you have a baby girl, you HAVE to buy these baby bling bows! They were my favorite for Hazel! They were the ONLY bow that would fit her newborn head, and they are adjustable so they can grow with you baby’s head without leaving red marks or indents on her head! I literally bought them in every color, so I hope I have another girl some day!

How sweet is Isla cuddling with her mama?!




Seriously, this was THE cutest thing! Every time they would kiss her, Isla got the BIGGEST smile on her face and giggled! Babies just warm my heart!! I love how showing them love brings them so much joy and in turn, gives the parents such joy!

Here I am ‘holden” sweet baby Isla. One of my favorite things about this job is holding so many beautiful, sweet babies!

And now, for my favorite, BLOOPERS! My absolute favorite is the one of her eating her hands!
