When I showed up to do Baker’s lifestyle 3 month portraits at their home in Van Alstyne-just outside of McKinney, I couldn’t believe how big he had gotten since his newborn photos! He doesn’t look like a 3 month old, he looks like a 6 month old! He looks like a completely different baby compared to his newborn photos, and it’s only been 3 short months!!

Baker is such a happy, chill baby, and I loved spending time with their family! Watching Ashley and Braxton play with Baker and read to him made my heart soar! I feel like babies are one of the only things to make us slow down and really soak in the moments! It can be so easy to fall into the habit of routine and focus on what you’re having to do next, mindlessly scrolling social media sites, or fall into a Netflix binge, but babies DEMAND your attention. They demand that we put down the phones, stop making dinner, stop cleaning the house, and pause the show. And it’s always worth it.

Doing lifestyle shoots to document each stage of life for the first year of life brings my heart such joy! I love being able to capture family life and the way you spend your days with your little baby at each milestone. The moments that are demanded from your sweet baby.
