TWO WORDS: NOT FAIR

Have you ever looked at teenagers today and thought, “that’s not fair!”? Life is so different for them, and much easier for them in some ways. But when looking at Avery during her senior portraits, I kept thinking how unfair it was that she literally looked like a beautiful model. When I was 18, I looked awkward, and I did not have myself together.

Avery is the exact opposite from me as a teenager. She is everything I wished I could have been at that age! She has everything together from her adorable style (because every outfit was so fashionable and cute), to her perfect hair and make up, to her path in life.

She is going to do big things! All through high school she has played volleyball for Allen High School, as well as for MadFrog club volleyball. While doing this, she has kept up with her school work and is even enrolled in an EMT program and starting her emergency room clinical and fire department EMT ride alongs soon! Upon graduation, she has a full ride to the Naval Academy! I am just so proud of this girl and all she has already accomplished and all she will accomplish!

This was my new favorite location! It was small and cute, but still had so many opportunities of locations to photograph in such a tiny space. The best part is, no one was around! We had the whole space to ourselves, which was awesome! I’m certain I’m going to be coming back to this location in the future!

I actually am doing two senior portrait sessions for her! This was from the other week when we did “formal” senior portraits. The next session we are doing will be on Allen High School’s campus! It’s going to be super nostalgic since I graduated from there myself 10 years ago!

 

She’s so tall and pretty! I think maybe she should consider a career in modeling!

After we were done at our first location, we went to downtown McKinney for a few fun and colorful shots!
