Any mamas out there like Laura who waited until the baby was born to find out what they are having?! If so, I know you’re either waiting until the baby gets here to decorate the nursery, or you’ll just make a gender neutral nursery.
I am VERY much a planner. Although I like the idea of being surprised, I don’t like the idea of having to wait to decorate. My mind ticks and thrives on planning how a room will go together, what pieces will fit in just the right place.
The nursery Laura put together for Bishop seemed to match the rest of the house, meticulous and perfect! I love how she put together the space, it is simple, neutral, and relaxing.
I love the colors in here, white, cream, and grey! They go together so well to make a space that is relaxing and clean, but not too clean! In case you haven’t heart, kids are dirty, so I’m always a fan of cream!
If you need some inspo for your own gender neutral nursery, look below!
THE NURSERY
I love how even though it’s a small space, she managed to fit everything important inside! I struggle who how to arrange furniture so it all fits, and this worked perfectly!
Love this little framed quote! <3
My teacher heart soars every time I see books displayed in a baby nursery! It’s SO important to make literacy a part of life from the very beginning to have successful readers!
I love this little giraffe over the dresser!
Clean and simple dresser that can be used even when Bishop is a teenager! I love that kind of longevity in furniture!
I had to throw one in of sweet Bishop in his comfy bed, too!
Great job on the nursery, Laura! Actually, great job on the whole house! I loved visiting yall’s home! It’s always so fun to see how people decorate their homes, and their home was something I was totally vining with!
