You know how sometimes you just meet people that you know you’re going to click with right off the bat? That’s how I felt as soon as I started to take these family portraits. I had THE MOST fun photographing and creating memories for this AWESOME family! Although all the kids are grown, they are all kids at heart and I LOVED THAT about them! I hope my little family is like that one day! This portrait session was the most fun ever! I was constantly loving and SO enjoyed seeing their love and silliness for one another! You could tell just by spending time with them that they were the kind of family you WANT to go spend the holidays with! I imagine that there is A LOT of laughter any time they are all together!

My finger was so sore by the end of this because I was so busy trying to catch all the fun! So much so that my card got FULL with over 1200 photos and I had to go through and delete some really quick to finish the session! It was so much fun! Shannon, Jacob, Sam, William, Aaron, Caitlyn, and Jayden, thank you so much for letting me a part of your holidays! I had so much fun with ya’ll, I felt like a part of your crew!

OUR TIME TOGETHER

Jacob was such a good sport about all these photos! This one was my favorite “7th Wheel” picture!

These were some of the first photos I took of the Causey family and this is when I knew that we were going to have a great time! They were just having a blast goofing off and bouncing up and down!

THE RIVER

Just a little background for you to demonstrate how wonderful, trusting, and adventurous this family is! It had rained the whole night before. This location has a BEAUTIFUL field of tall grass that I really wanted to shoot in knowing how beautiful it was. Knowing this, I wore my heavy duty rainbows, however, they all looked so wonderful it their beautiful outfits—including their nice shoes! I scoured this area to find a spot where the water was not running like a river and William went to grab their car mats. THEN, they ALL walking on topi of the carats to get this field so that we could get these beautiful shots and it. was. worth it!

THANK YOU for trusting me! I think this light is just so beautiful in this field and it reflects so nicely off of the tall blades of grass!
